, My Pet Ram, BEVERLYS’s, and Below Grand are proud to present, NY4LA, a two-day exhibition featuring artworks donated by 60 New York-based artists, each priced at under $1,000. All proceeds will be donated to the Grief x Hope GoFundMe in support of the Los Angeles art community affected by the devastating wildfires.

Grief x Hope is a group of volunteers — artists, gallery employees, and other cultural workers —with the urgent goal of raising $500,000 to be distributed to artists and art workers who have lost their homes and/or studios as a result of the Eaton, Palisades, Sunset, and other fires in the Los Angeles area. Grief x Hope has created this centralized fundraiser in response to inquiries from those of us outside of Los Angeles who are looking for guidance on how to directly support      recovery efforts. To maximize its impact, Grief x Hope have built out a pair of surveys: one to assess the most urgent needs of artists and art workers affected by the fires, and the other to
compile offers regarding mutual aid.

Initiated by artist Anders Lindseth, and organized by four art spaces fostering community in the Lower East Side—this exhibition demonstrates the power of artistic collaboration and solidarity in times of crisis. The exhibition’s title, NY4LA, highlights the camaraderie between our two creative cities and the people who make them tick.

By purchasing an artwork, you will directly aid in rebuilding the lives and practices of LA artists affected by the wildfires, so please stop by this Saturday and Sunday to pick up a great work of art at a great price for a great cause, and join us at BEVERLY’S just a couple blocks away at 297 Grand Street on Saturday beginning at 7pm until late for a gathering of friends.

* In-person purchases only. Artworks can be taken home at time of purchase.
* Free drink at Beverly’s on Saturday with every purchase.
